EURO-INBO 2011, 9th European Conference on the Water framework directive implementation
The next « EUROPE-INBO 2011 » international conference, organised by the « Group of European Basin Organisations for the Implementation of the Water Framework Directive », will take place, at the invitation of the Portuguese Water Authorities and North River Basin Organisation, on 27, 28, 29 and 30 September 2011 in Porto (Portugal).
This conference is part of the European Regional Preparatory Process of the 6th World Water Forum, to be held in Marseille - France from 12 to 17 March 2012, and aims at strongly mobilising all partners involved, especially the Euro-Mediterranean countries, to collect effective field-implemented solutions and proposed measures to meet the current and future challenges of water management in the region.
Several side events will be organised by the coordinators of the 12 "Specific Europe Region Priority Targets", which also correspond to the topics of 5 round tables.
