Satellite technology offers not only the best information in terms of quality to price ratio, but also the means for African countries to improve governance and become masters of their own resources. Etienne Massart K. Makagam, Managing Director of AGEOS-Gabon, strongly invited African countries to overcome mistrust and begin using satellite technologies. However, raising awareness about the benefits and limitations of such technologies is an imperative.
