Lusophone World discusses Food Security ,Gender, and Water

On 15 March, different stakeholders from lusophone countries (portuguese speakers) were gathered to discuss gender, water and food security. 
The meeting was promoted by the Ipanema Institute and Cap-net (a network for capacity building in sustainable water management of the United Nations Development Programme) and aimed to propose guidelines for future projects and partnerships regarding to the role of Women to guarantee the rights for access to water and food security in the lusophone countries. 
The lusophone world includes eight countries: Portugal, Brasil, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, East Timor, Guinea-Bissau and Sao Tomé and Principe.
