The "Water and Film" East Contest is open!

Open until October 28^th, 2011

Open to all inhabitants of Alsace, Lorraine and Champagne-Ardenne French regions, the "Water and Film" East contest aims to educate and inform a wide audience on the issue of water, and to understand the issue of the 6^th World Water Forum. Based on the International Water and Film Event, the project is designed to gather around the theme of water young people, professionals and public at large.

The contest is open until 28 October 2011 to 3 categories:

• 'Favorite': small films made by young people from 11 to 16 years old (with or without the collaboration of professionals)

• "VidéEau": clips under 60 seconds, achieved by 17-30 years old

• Documentary: maximum 26-minute film made by professionals

The award-winning films of this regional competition will incorporate the official selection of films of the 3^rd edition of the International Water and Film Event (IWFE), to be held in Marseille during the 6^th World Water Forum.
