The 6th World Water Forum in the spotlight during the Caribbean Water Days

04 October 2011

Guadeloupe (French Caribbeans) welcomes the 10th Water Days as well as the 20th annual conference of the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA), October 2nd to 7th.

This main event will gather many water management stakeholders from the Caribbean and elsewhere.
On this occasion, a preparatory session for the 6th World Water Forum will be organised on October 6th. The agenda is available here.

In the morning, the workshop “Local authorities and water management” will be followed by a plenary session presenting the World Water Forum and its preparatory processes.
A specific workshop related to water management in European Outermost Regions (OMR) will then take place, from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm. This specific event will be facilitated by the International Office for Water, in charge of the European regional preparatory process for the 6th World Water Forum.
