A project to meet and exchange
The project "Young Europeans Drawers of Water" of which "Small Débrouillards PACA" are project leaders, will bring together 32 young people from eight European countries (France, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, Finland, Lithuania) from 7 to 18 March 2012 in Marseille for the 6th World Water Forum.
In each country, an organisation belonging to the network YPPSI will send a group of four young people aged 18 to 25 years and one accompanying person to meet and participate in a project around the construction of European citizenship.
A meeting to build the world together
The meeting in Marseille for the 6th World Water Forum is for these young people a stepstone in the organisation of the participation of European youth in other events and reflection on other topics: the young have organised a series of video conferences with young representatives in Rio, training time on networking and on ecological transition.
A theme: water
The theme of water will allow young people to have a fresh perspective, a thorough study on water: water is a common good that is becoming increasingly rare and that everyone uses in accordance with their needs, but also their habits. Each company has developed a different system that relies on the exploitation of this natural resource. The theme of water is very rich and it is possible to approach it from several angles: Young Europeans Drawers of Water decided to highlight the following aspects: water governance, economic, geopolitical and health issues
