Desalinisation is the Solution

Secretary General of Jordan Water Ministry Khaldon Khashman considers that desalinisation is the solution that Jordan has to apply to compensate the shortage of water and to solve the complicated problems of transboundary water resources, lack of funding, policies and capacity building.

Despite the fact that Jordan is the fourth most water-scarce nation on earth, having one of the lowest levels of water resource availability per capita, they are having mega projects like transfer of Disi water and Red-Dead Project.
