"Life under the ships"

During the World Water Forum, Marseille Fos Port Authority will present an exhibition of submarine photographs displaying its port basin. These pictures will allow you to discover the bottom of the port. You will view unsuspected marvels and a rich and diverse underwater wildlife in an environment adapted for port activities.

Photographs were taken by Laurent Ballesta, the famous marine biologist and photographer from the association “L’œil d’Andromède”. The photography project is part of the “Infrastructure Management for the Ecological Restoration of the Marseille Fos Port coastline” programme supported by the Marseille Fos Port Authority in conjunction with the French Water Agency for Corsica, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Rhone River. The exhibition takes place in two shipping containers at Place du Général de Gaulle.
